I am an Indian and a practicing Muslim Alhamdulillah (thank God). When I first heard the news about Bangladesh my first response was of shock. Why did the muslims do such a thing, do they not know islam? I was saddened that they attacked their Hindu minority. In a family, its always the duty of the strong to protect the weak!! I appreciated Bangladesh's government's response in the news but I dont know how well they implemented it on ground. Sadly you dont get to see that response from our government in India. Anyhow, Islam teaches to respect people of all religions. Im sure the ignorants who came to the streets in Bangladesh to "reclaim" Qurans respect barely opened the book to read it. I do agree that whoever committed the act of placing it the Quran in the temple was wrong, very wrong indeed but not to the point that you would attack other people or their religion. If the person who did that was a Hindu, then you dont need to do anything because he doesnt know its worth and we dont need to force it down his throat. I am also sure a true practicing Hindu wouldnt do such an act. Its the ignorants who are always at the forefront of fundamentalism. such actions just show how insecure you are. Dhruv put it aptly, the Quran or Islam doesnt need us to protect it physically. If we wish to protect it... practice it in your daily life, embody it. Religion is meant to help you live this life better or how to live this life properly, it is not the life, the extremists are the ones you never really read their religious books properly or lack the iq to understand what's written on their holy book,

Assume this world as a game,and the rules of this games are written on your religious book, there are many religious books, tomorrow you can make another set of rules and hence you can make another religion, if people find ur religion interesting maybe after few years it can be followed by millions but it doesn't mean that the religion you made is 100% correct cause you yourself are a human being, same way all the religions in this world are made by humans all the religious books are written by humans, in no religion God himself gave the religious book to the people, so what's written in ur religious book doesn't really have to be true or 100% perfect, so why to hate and kill other people for it or do some activity which is prohibited/against ur religion, just think about it.

1. Since partition population of Hindu's and other religious groups and declined rapidly. Isn't it time we demand Govt. to expand the CAA scope to accommodate more persecuted and displaced people .
2. Isn't it time we teach about religious harmony in schools, so that we have mutual respect of others faith and opinions.
Here in 🇬🇧 Britain, we have compulsory Religious Education in Primary & Secondary schools where (even though the UK is officially a † Christian country), they provide complete education on ☪ Islam, ॐ Hinduism, ☸ Buddhism, ☬ Sikhism, and ✡Judaism as well (probably as 🇬🇧British 🇮🇳Indians, 🇵🇰Pakistanis & 🇧🇩Bangladeshis form 5% of UK’s population!) This education of all the 6 Major World Faiths actually educates the school generations about the many good aspects of all Religions & also helps many of us mingle into our friends' culture & beliefs, promoting our friendship. It will be great if 🇮🇳India can also add a Subject to its education system (maybe as a subject within Humanities & Social Studies) & in India particular, we can also include Jainism & Zoroastrianism as there are more Jains & Parsis (Zoroastrians) in India than Yahudis (Jews). In fact, many schools are also recommended to teach both Jainism & Zoroastrianism too in UK!!
This is particularly important for the World's soon-to-be Most-Populous country by explaining the diversity of India, and also is important as India is the Birthplace & Holy Land of the World's 3rd, 4th & 5th Largest Religions - Hinduism, Buddhism & Sikhism, as well as Jainism, and is also the 'fatherland' of Zoroastrians & Jews, together with it having the 2nd largest Islam following after 🇮🇩Indonesia (despite the 1947 Partition into 🇵🇰Pakistan & 🇧🇩Bangladesh - World’s 5th & 8th Most-Populous nations), and it being one of the 1st Christian Countries, way before Christianity even entered 🇪🇺Europe! I am an Indian and a practicing Muslim Alhamdulillah (thank God). When I first heard the news about Bangladesh my first response was of shock. Why did the muslims do such a thing, do they not know islam? I was saddened that they attacked their Hindu minority. In a family, its always the duty of the strong to protect the weak!! I appreciated Bangladesh's government's response in the news but I dont know how well they implemented it on ground. Sadly you dont get to see that response from our government in India.
Anyhow, Islam teaches to respect people of all religions. Im sure the ignorants who came to the streets in Bangladesh to "reclaim" Qurans respect barely opened the book to read it. I do agree that whoever committed the act of placing it the Quran in the temple was wrong, very wrong indeed but not to the point that you would attack other people or their religion. If the person who did that was a Hindu, then you dont need to do anything because he doesnt know its worth and we dont need to force it down his throat. I am also sure a true practicing Hindu wouldnt do such an act. Its the ignorants who are always at the forefront of fundamentalism. such actions just show how insecure you are. Dhruv put it aptly, the Quran or Islam doesnt need us to protect it physically. If we wish to protect it... practice it in your daily life, embody it. If somebody asks you how and why are you good, tell them I practice what the Quran preaches. They will respect both the book and you!
